Which Consignment Service is Right for You?
With our new auction service launching in just a couple of weeks, we wanted to take a moment to provide some best practices for your consideration when determining which consignment service levels is right for your trading cards.
Below you’ll find some helpful tips on what types of cards are best suited for each of the different consignment services we offer.
Traditional Consignment Services
Basic 2 Month
- Low-end cards ranging from $1-$10 in value.
- Vintage and modern cards.
- Serial numbered, rookie, autographed, and memorabilia cards of minor stars.
- Non-numbered prospect and rookie base cards.
- Some base cards of major stars and legends.
For the best experience, we recommend that sellers spot check the values of some of the items they are consigning that may already be available for sale on COMC. When supply exceeds demand on items, perceived value can differ from true market value.
Select 2 Week
- Mid- & high-end cards ranging from $10-$199 in value.
- Vintage and modern cards.
- Serial numbered, rookie, autographed, or memorabilia cards of major stars and hot players.
- Rarer cards of players not currently hot or trending.
Premium 3 Day
- Mid- & high-end cards of $50 or more in value.
- All trading cards with a value of $200 or more.
- Vintage and modern cards.
- Hot cards of superstars and currently trending players.

Should I submit veteran base cards to COMC?
This is a tough question to answer because not all base cards are the same. Some base cards, such as from mid- and high-end or limited-run products are encouraged.
We recommend that you do not consign veteran base cards from popular products such as flagship Topps baseball and Panini Prizm Basketball.
We receive so many of these items that supply usually exceeds demand, causing prices to fall below submission cost.
Current-Year Consignment Services
Basic 1 Month
- Cards released during current year, or dual-year cards that include the current year within their year range.
- Low-end cards ranging from $1-$10 in value.
- Serial numbered, rookie, autographed, and memorabilia cards of minor stars
- Cards that will sell for at least $1 or more. Newer non-numbered veteran base cards tend to fall under this threshold quickly.
Select 1 Week
- Cards released during current year, or dual-year cards that include the current year within their year range.
- Mid- & high-end cards ranging from $10-$199 in value.
- Serial numbered, rookie, autographed, or memorabilia cards of major stars and hot players.
- Rarer cards of players not currently hot or trending.
7 Day Auction Consignment Service
- Cards with a $25 minimum auction value
- Mid- & high end cards that you want to sell immediately
- Popular and iconic cards with established market values.
- Low-numbered rookie and autographed cards of current and top superstars
- Gem mint graded modern trading cards of mid-tier and top superstars
- Cards of mid-tier and top superstars from high-end products
- 1-of-1 serial numbered cards
- Autographed cards of legends and Hall of Fame players.
