COMC Now Accepting CSG Cards

COMC is excited to announce we now accept cards graded by CSG Certified Sports Guaranty. CSG is backed by the same ownership and management team behind NGC, PMG and CGC who are branded leaders in coin, paper money and comic book certification services.

With 30+ years experience in certifying collectibles it was a logical extension for the founding group of NGC to expand services to gaming cards with CGC Certified Grading Company and sports cards under CSG (both accepted by COMC). Collectibles certified with CSG and CGC offer guarantees of authenticity and accuracy, as well as top-notch security elements to prevent against tampering and counterfeiting. COMC confidently welcomes cards graded by CSG to our marketplace!

Welcome back to ‘Check Out Your Grades!”, our monthly BGS submissions results blog where we show you our favorite cards that have returned from BGS in the past month. In April, we saw the first results from our new 3-week grading service, our fastest grading option that we’ve ever offered.

Did you know that you can submit any item in your inventory manager via the actions menu to BGS for grading or to COMC for our weekly Condition Review? Not only will your cards be graded within three or six weeks, but they’ll have a chance to be showcased in our monthly blog series!

The winds of change are blowing! Last month, we published out 2018 Spring BGS Service Update which included the news that we’re rolling out a new 3 week expedited service. The early results are in, and this service is quite popular among COMC users!

BGS Grading Changes and Expedited Services Update

Hello COMC Nation!

Each Spring we announce updates and changes to the Beckett Grading Services offered through COMC. This year, we are bringing to you our fastest BGS turn-around time ever with our new 3-Week service. Additionally, we are making changes to our current 6-Week service level so we can continue to meet our customer’s expectations of accurate and guaranteed time frames.

Please note that regardless of service level chosen, all items submitted for grading through COMC are subject to the 1% declared value fee for insurance purposes. Items can be submitted for grading via the actions tab of the item that you want to submit to grading within your COMC inventory manager.

What’s Changing on April 25th, 2018:

New 3-Week Expedited BGS Service Level Added!

You asked and we listened! We all know that players can get hot in an instant and market value can change in the blink of an eye. Starting this week, COMC Members seeking grading services for their time-sensitive items can submit their items to our new 3-Week expedited BGS Service, our fastest turnaround time ever. We’re offering the 3-Week service at $40 per item, with autographed cards an additional $2 and oversized cards an additional $8.

Changes to our current 6-Week Service

In accordance with a BGS rate increase in 2018, COMC is also adjusting rates to reflect those changes. The base rate for our 6-Week service is now $21, with add-ons of $2 for autographs and $8 per oversized item. The guaranteed time frame for this service will remain unchanged.

The cut-off time to submit items under the old rate is April 24th, 2018 at 11:59pm.

All we can say is “WOW!” We are seeing a record amount of BGS Submissions return on a monthly basis. 2017-18 Upper Deck Series 1 Hockey remains an overwhelming favorite,  as this months returns saw tons of gem mint Young Guns. With so many great cards to choose from, we’ve picked out the cream of the crop to showcase in this months’s edition of Check Out Your Grades!

The calendar has turned yet again which means it’s time for a fresh installment of Check Out Your Grades! In this monthly series, we share our favorite items that have been submitted by members of the COMC Nation to BGS Grading via their COMC account . February was one of the busiest months that we’ve ever seen for grading returns! Last month, owners of items from the recently released Upper Deck ePack sets such as 2017 Upper Deck Goodwin Champions and 2017-18 Upper Deck Series 1 Hockey sets saw their grading submissions returned in abundance.
