March is officially here, and that means Bracket Battles on COMC are in full swing! For the first time, the COMC marketplace is transforming into a competitive arena where every buyer and seller has a chance to shine. From March 1 through March 14, the Play-In is your moment to build momentum, earn a seed, and stake your claim in this thrilling tournament.
What Is the Play-In Period?
The Play-In Period (March 1–14) is the opening phase of the COMC Bracket Battles, a month-long competition celebrating buying, selling, and the hustle that defines our community. During these first two weeks, every qualifying purchase and sale counts toward your tournament placement. Whether you’re aiming for one of the top seeded brackets or hoping to get your name drawn in the Random Bracket, this is where it all starts.
Why This Matters
Seeding Into Top Brackets
Your combined purchases and sales during the Play-In Period determine if you crack the top 192 and earn a seed in one of the three performance-based brackets. The higher you rank, the tougher the competition and the bigger the potential rewards.
Random Bracket Eligibility
Even if you don’t make the leaderboard, any qualifying activity still gives you a shot at being randomly selected into the fourth bracket. Every member who makes at least one qualifying sale or purchase is eligible so nobody’s left on the sidelines!
What Happens After March 14?
Once the Play-In Period wraps on March 14, brackets will be revealed on March 15. Then the head-to-head matchups kick off starting March 19, moving through quarterfinals, semifinals, and ultimately the championship round. The competition is fierce, the stakes are community pride (and some serious store credit rewards), and champions will be crowned in early April!
