Black Friday Week is one of the busiest times of the year for buyers and sellers, and we’re giving consignors an extra reason to get their best cards to COMC early. 

Introducing Race to Black Friday, a consignment competition running Oct. 1–15, 2026, with early submissions also accepted at The Philly Show this weekend. Send qualifying Hot List cards through COMC’s Elite or Direct to eBay Live submission options, earn points, and compete for a share of $1,000 in COMC Store Credit. Open to eligible U.S. residents age 18 or older, excluding residents of Arizona, Colorado, and Maryland. How Race to Black Friday Works 

To participate, qualifying cards must: 

• Appear on the official Race to Black Friday Hot List 
• Be submitted through COMC’s Elite or Direct to eBay Live submission options 
• Be physically received either at COMC’s Algona, Washington location between Oct. 1 and Oct. 15, or by an authorized representative of COMC at the COMC booth during The Philly Show, Sept. 25–27. 

Only cards matching the published Hot List will earn points. 

Earn Points for Qualifying Cards 

• Direct to eBay Live Hot List card: 1 point
• Elite Consignment Hot List card: 2 points  

The more qualifying cards you send, the more points you can earn. 

$1,000 in COMC Store Credit Up for Grabs 

To give consignors with different submission volumes a meaningful opportunity to compete, eligible participants will be divided into two groups based on their COMC consignment volume from Aug. 1, 2025, through September 22, 2026. 

Within each group: 

• The consignor with the most points in each category will receive $250 in COMC Store Credit 

•  The next five highest-point consignors in each category will each receive $50 in COMC Store Credit 

• That’s $500 in prizes per group and $1,000 in total COMC Store Credit. 

Why Send Your Cards Early?

The general received-by deadline for Elite Consignment and Direct to eBay Live submissions to be processed in time for Black Friday/Cyber Monday is Nov. 6. But getting qualifying cards to us by Oct. 15 gives them additional time to move through processing while putting you in the running for Race to Black Friday prizes.

To earn points, qualifying cards must be physically received at COMC’s location in Algona, Washington between Oct. 1-15, 2026. Be sure to allow enough shipping time for your submission to arrive before the deadline. Eligible cards delivered to an authorized representative of COMC at the COMC booth during The Philly Show from Sept. 25–27, 2026, will also qualify for the competition. 

Race to Black Friday winners are expected to be verified and announced in early November, following processing and validation of qualifying submissions.
