COMC Auctions is partnering with eBay to promote an exclusive hockey auction event to celebrate the 2023 NHL All-Star Game!

As part of this exclusive event, COMC Auctions will be featured on eBay’s homepage from January 30th through February 5th! This hockey promotion is the ideal opportunity to increase the visibility of your auction consignments as the 2023 NHL All-Star Game festivities begin.

Cards submitted to auction via COMC will receive a maximized number of views throughout the auction event. Below you’ll find all the information you need to get started, and even if you’re new to COMC, there’s still time to register for a free account!

Items must be received at COMC by 1/23 to be eligible for this event.

COMC users have multiple options for submitting cards for this event. Whether you already have cards consigned with us to submit to auction, or you are considering sending cards to COMC specifically for this event, details and key dates are listed below.

Mail-In Submissions

Cards must be received at COMC by the end of the day on 1/23/2023 to be included in the promotion. Items shipped internationally must be shipped to the Redmond, WA location and must be received by 1/23/2023.

To create a new mail-in auction submission, simply follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your COMC Account or register for a new COMC Account
  2. Click Start New Submission in the Seller Menu on the COMC Dashboard
  3. Select the COMC/eBay NHL All Star Sales Event processing service as shown below:

Elite-Item Transfers

Elite-Item Transfer deadlines apply only to items already processed through our Elite Consignment Service.

Items must be transferred to auction by 1/24 to be eligible for this event.

If you already have COMC Elite hockey cards in your COMC Inventory Manager, you can send them to auction in just a few clicks! You must transfer them to auction by the end of the day on 1/24/2023 and select the COMC/eBay NHL All-Star Sales Event option when transferring your items to auction.

Click on the Actions button for a given item in your inventory and then select Send to Auction to begin the auction transfer process:

Then select COMC/eBay NHL All-Star Sales Auction Event for the eBay Auction Service.

After transferring your cards to auction, they are moved from your Inventory Manager to the Grading Submissions page in your COMC account. Once scheduled for auction, you can monitor your auctions via the Auction History page.

Only items already processed through our Elite Consignment Service may be transferred to our Hockey eBay Auction Event. If you’d like to reprocess an item as Elite to be included in this auction event, you must submit it for Elite reprocessing by the end of the day on 1/20/2023.

Items must be submitted for Elite reprocessing by 1/20 to be eligible for this event.

Important Auction Reminders

As you consider participating in this exciting auction event, there are a few key reminders we’d like to share:

  • The minimum fee per auction, regardless of the final sale price, is $3.50. We do not recommend submitting cards to auction that will not reach a final sale price of $20 or more.
  • There are no cancellations once we receive your auction submissions.

Mail-In Submissions

Submissions must be received at COMC by the end of the day on 12/05/2022 and notated on the outside of the package with the letters “HH” to ensure inclusion in this promotion.

To create a new mail-in auction submission, please complete the following steps:

  1. Log in to your COMC Account or register for a new COMC account
  2. Click Start New Submission while logged in to your account
  3. Select the COMC/eBay Cards for the Holidays Auction Event processing service.
  4. Please ensure that your submission package is clearly notated on the outside of the package with the letters “HH” to ensure that your submission is processed timely for this promotion.

Elite-Item Transfers

Elite-Item Transfer deadlines apply only to items which have already been processed through our Elite Consignment Service.

Elite items must be transferred by 12/09 to be eligible for this event.

If you already have COMC Elite cards in your COMC Inventory Manager, you can send them to auction in just a few clicks! Items must be transferred to auction by Friday, December 9th by selecting the COMC/eBay Cards for the Holidays Auction Event option. For a given item, simply right-click on the Actions menu and then select Send to Auction to begin the transfer-to-auction process:

After transferring your cards to auction, they are moved from your Inventory Manager to the Grading Submissions page in your COMC account. Once scheduled for auction, you can monitor your auctions via the Auction History page.

Only items that have already been processed through COMC’s Elite Consignment Service may be transferred to the Cards for the Holidays eBay Auction Event. If you wish to submit a non-Elite item to auction, you must first submit the item for Elite reprocessing, after which you can choose for it to be transferred to auction.

Items must be submitted for Elite reprocessing by 12/06 to be eligible for this event.

Which Cards Are Best For Elite?

The Elite service is intended for raw and graded single trading cards with a sale value of more than $50. There is no minimum or maximum submission quantity for Elite. Elite items are guaranteed to have a 2-week turnaround time.

Additional Promotion Information

  • This discount does stack with Fresh Pulls, which means even deeper discounts for eligible Fresh Pulls products in addition to the discounts for this promotion!
  • The discount does not apply to the Mailbox package fee, toploader removal fee, or the missing/incorrect paperwork fee.

We’re so confident you’ll love using your COMC account to purchase items that we’re providing a $5 Shipping Voucher to COMC members who purchase at least 20 cards with your COMC Store Credit from Monday, April 25th until Sunday, May 1st. The voucher will be good for $5 off any shipping service and will be added to your account on Monday, May 2nd. (Limit one voucher per customer. Vouchers expire June 30th, 2022).

Purchases Made With COMC Credit Qualify for Special Rebates!

All purchases made with COMC Credit during the Spring Into COMC Savings! promotion will qualify for the following COMC credit rebates:

  • Receive a $10 rebate for $250 spent
  • Receive a $25 rebate for $500 spent
  • Receive a $50 rebate for $1000 spent

Your rebate will be added to your COMC account on May 2nd and is based on the total dollar amount of purchases made with your COMC account during the promotion.

Only purchases made with COMC Credit will qualify. (Rebates do not stack. Each qualifying customer will receive only one rebate depending on which purchase milestone is reached by the end of the promotion.)
