CA – Processing Team Member

COMC has exciting immediate opportunities for Processing Team Members to join our team in Burnaby, BC! This position will provide support with incoming submissions of cards we receive on consignment, assisting with the process of receiving, imaging, and storing these cards. This is a non-traditional warehouse work; we work in the office environment with very small valuable items. This is an entry-level position for someone looking to start their career!

SUMMARY

Receives, opens, stores, and images incoming consignments and maintains both the stock and the records of these items; assists as directed in shipping tasks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Record Duties

  • Safely open packages, mailers, and envelopes under a camera system.
  • Demonstrate delicate manual dexterity, handling small, fragile inventory with great precision and care over extended periods of time and at a swift pace.
  • Image items using our proprietary system.
  • Participate in the inspection and physical count of incoming materials.
  • Insure accuracy in all levels of inventory management to provide correct inventory counts and valuations.
  • Report errors and missing inventory to lead.
  • Maintain inventory with care.
  • Assist leads and managers in all organization projects.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or equivalent; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of collectible cards is preferable.

Excellent attention to detail.
Accuracy in all processing functions.
Excellent customer service skills.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Moderate familiarity with Windows based computer system required.

Specific vision abilities required by this job are close, distance, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The ability to compare small details between two images for accuracy. The ability to view a computer monitor for extended periods.
