2023 No Minimum Auction Fee Event

COMC is Now Offering Auctions on ALL Cards With no Minimum Auction Fee!

Send any of your items to auction starting Tuesday, November 21, 2023 to take part in this end of the year event!

The COMC No Minimum Auction Event will take place starting November 21st through December 31st, 2023:

  • All cards in your inventory are eligible to list at auction (Not just Elite!)
  • No minimum Auction Fee (regularly $3.50 minimum)
  • $35 maximum Auction Fee
  • No auction listing fee for Elite Items, and only $0.75 listing fee for everything else
  • The $3.50 minimum auction fee still applies to items shipped to our eBay Auction Consignment Service

How to submit your items to COMC Auctions:

  1. Find the item you want to submit in your Inventory Manager
  2. Click on the Actions menu
  3. Select Send to Auction
  4. Select eBay Auction service
  5. Submit the item
  • We recommend only submitting cards with an auction sale value of $5 or more.
  • Auctions are listed on a first-come, first-served basis. Submissions of Elite items receive listing priority.

Don’t forget If you’ve won an auction listed on eBay from our COMC_Consignments account, you can pay with COMC Store Credit and have your auction wins instantly transferred to your COMC account!

Is your eBay account linked to your COMC account? You can easily link your eBay account to your COMC account so you can pay for auctions with COMC Store Credit.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long will it take for my item to list at auction?

We list between 1,500 and 2,000 auctions every day. Auctions are listed on a first come, first served basis. Elite items get first priority and typically list within 1 week of submission. No minimum auction submissions run till December 31st.

Will I need to wait for items to be reprocessed before they go to auction?

Items do not need to be reprocessed as Elite to go to auction during the promotion. You can still reprocess any higher valued items for $2 before sending them to auction, but it is not required.

Is there still a minimum Auction Fee on my Elite items?

Through the end of the year, any items you send to auction from your COMC inventory will have no minimum Auction Fee. The Auction Fee is just 3.5% of the sale price, with a maximum Auction Fee of $35.

Is there still a $3.50 minimum Auction Fee for items shipped to the eBay Auction consignment service?

Yes. This promotion does not apply to items consigned to our direct-to-auction service level.

What happens if my item doesn’t receive a $0.99 opening bid?

Any item that does not receive an auction bid will be returned to your COMC account. Please only submit cards valued $5 or more to auction. At our discretion, we may choose to not list submission valued less than $1.00 at auction. The $0.75 submission fee will NOT be refunded.

COMC is excited to announce our presence at this year’s East Coast National in White Plains, NY. Whether you’re new to COMC or a long-time user, be sure to come by our booth and say “Hello”! For more information about the show itself, please visit the official site.

The convention will be held at the Westchester County Center from Friday, August 18th through Sunday, August 20th in White Plains, NY. COMC will have a team of employees on hand to accept consignment submissions and answer any and all questions about COMC!

The East Coast National Submission Promotion Discount Requirements

Take 50% Off Graded Elite, Select, and Standard submissions for items submitted onsite at the East Coast National between Friday, August 18th, and Sunday, August 20th!

Graded Card Submission discount applies to graded sports, non-sports, and TCG cards only, graded by a supported third-party grading company. 

Discount does not apply to raw cards, ungraded cards, or to uncirculated/encased, RCR, or factory-sealed toploaders. The discount also does not apply to third-party grading submission fees.

Write “SLAB50” on each submission paperwork slip to receive 50% off your graded submission’s total processing fee.

  • Maximum 150 total graded cards in submissions (per user, not per service level).

Important Submission Reminders

  • Each submission slip must have handwritten codes on the submission paperwork to qualify. There are no exceptions, and submissions without handwritten codes will not be eligible for a retroactive promotional discount.
  • Non-elite items submitted for reprocessing through the Elite service are not eligible for the discount.
  • Items must be submitted onsite at the East Coast National between Friday, August 18th through Sunday, August 20th in order to be eligible for the promotion discounts.

COMC’s 2022 NBA Tip-Off eBay Auction Event: Submit Your Elite Basketball Cards Today!

Are you ready for the NBA Tip-Off? COMC Elite Auctions is partnering with eBay to promote our NBA Tip-Off Auction Event!

High-end basketball cards consigned via COMC Auctions will be featured on eBay’s homepage from Monday, October 17th through Sunday, October 23rd, 2022. Take advantage of this opportunity to increase the visibility of your auctions of basketball cards as the NBA season begins! All COMC Elite items that are currently in your port or listed on the site are eligible immediately. If you have Standard or Select basketball items you’d like to send to auction, you can still elect to reprocess them as Elite in time for the event! COMC Elite basketball items must be transferred to Auction by Sunday, October 16th, 2022 via the below simple steps in order to be eligible for this event:

  1. In your Inventory Manager, locate the COMC Elite item you want to transfer to auction
  2. Click the Actions menu button for that item
  3. Select Send to Auction
  4. Select the NBA Tip-Off eBay Auction Event option, shown below:

After transferring your cards to auction, they are moved from your Inventory Manager to the Auction Submissions page in your COMC account. Please note that all transfer-to-auction submissions are final. Once scheduled for auction, you can monitor your auctions via your Auction History page!

Non-Elite Items Transfer Deadlines

Cards already consigned with COMC that have not yet been upgraded to COMC Elite must first be Reprocessed as Elite to be eligible for COMC Auctions. To ensure that your items will be reprocessed in time for this event, we encourage you to submit them for reprocessing as soon as possible and no later than Wednesday, October 12th, 2022 via the below simple steps:

  1. Locate the item you want to upgrade in your Inventory Manager
  2. Click on the Actions menu
  3. Select Reprocess as Elite
  4. Select COMC Reprocessing
  5. Pay $2.00 COMC Store Credit to submit the item

Once the items have been reprocessed as Elite and returned to your COMC Inventory, please remember to then Send your Elite items to Auction by Sunday, October 16th, 2022.

Important COMC Auctions Reminders

  • The minimum fee per auction is $3.50, regardless of the final sale price. For a full breakdown of COMC Auction fees, consult the COMC Auction Schedule and Fees blog.
  • We strongly recommend you only submit cards to auction that will likely sell for $50.00 or more. COMC reserves the right to change the service level of new Auction submissions to Select for any submissions primarily consisting of items individually valued at less than $10.00.
  • There are no cancellations once we receive your auction submission. If you want to instead consign your high-end trading cards through COMC as buy-it-now listings or field offers on the COMC.com marketplace, we encourage you to submit them using our Elite Service. All Elite Items are eligible to be transferred to auction at a later date.
  • This event is intended only for those cards that have already been consigned to COMC; mail-in submissions will not be accepted for this auction promotion.

eBay Auction Event: NHL All-Star Game

COMC Auctions is partnering with eBay to promote an exclusive 2022 Hockey auction event leading up to the NHL All-Star Game!

When and how to submit your cards:

COMC users have multiple options for submitting cards for this event. Whether you already have cards consigned with us to submit to auction or if you are considering sending new cards to COMC specifically for this event, details and key dates are listed below.

Mail-In Submissions

Cards must be received at COMC by the end of the day on 01/13/2022 to be included in the promotion.

To create a new mail-in auction submission complete the following steps:

  1. Log in to your COMC Account or Register for a new COMC Account
  2. Start New Submission while logged in to your COMC Account

Elite Item Transfers

Elite Item Transfer deadlines apply only to items which have already been processed through our Elite Consignment Service.

To be included in the promotion, cards must be transferred to auction by 1/13/2022.

If you already have COMC Elite hockey cards in your COMC Inventory Manager, you can send them to auction in just a few clicks. You must transfer them to auction by Thursday, January 13th by selecting the “NHL All-Star eBay Event” option when transferring your items to auction.

Right click on “Actions” and then select “Send to Auction” to begin the auction transfer process.

Select “NHL All-Star Game eBay Event” for the eBay Auction Service.

After transferring your cards to auction, they move from your Inventory Manager to Auction Submissions in your COMC account. Once scheduled for auction, you can monitor your auctions in Auction History.

Only items that have already been processed through our Elite Consignment Service may be transferred to our Hockey eBay Auction Event. If you’d like to reprocess an item as Elite to be included in this auction event, you must submit it for Elite reprocessing by January 7, 2022.

Important Auctions Reminders

As you consider participating in this exciting auction event, there are a few key reminders we’d like to share:

  • The minimum fee per auction, regardless of the final sale price, is $3.50. We do not recommend you submit cards to auction if they will not reach a final sale price of $20 or more.
  • There are no cancellations once we receive your auction submissions.
