eBay Auction Event: 2022 FIFA World Cup

COMC Auctions is partnering with eBay to promote an exclusive soccer auction event to celebrate the 2022 FIFA World Cup!

As part of this exclusive event, COMC Auctions will be featured on eBay’s homepage from November 7th through November 13th! This soccer promotion is the ideal opportunity to increase the visibility of your auction consignments during the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Cards submitted to auction via COMC will receive a maximized number of views throughout the auction event. Below you’ll find all the information you need to get started, and, even if you’re new to COMC, there’s still time to register in order to participate in the event!

Please note that items must be received by 10/31 to be eligible for this event.

When and How to Submit Your Cards

COMC users have multiple options for submitting cards: whether you already have cards consigned with us to submit to auction, or you are considering sending cards to COMC specifically for this event, details and key dates are listed below.

Mail-In Submissions

Submissions must be received at COMC by the end of the day on 10/31/2022 and notated on the outside of the package with the letters “WC” to ensure inclusion in this promotion.

To create a new mail-in auction submission, please complete the following steps:

  1. Log in to your COMC Account or register for a new COMC account
  2. Click Start New Submission while logged in to your account
  3. Select the COMC/eBay World Cup Auction Event processing service.
  4. Please ensure that your submission package is clearly notated on the outside of the package with the letters “WC” to ensure that your submission is processed timely for this promotion.

Elite-Item Transfers

Elite-Item Transfer deadlines apply only to items which have already been processed through our Elite Consignment Service.

To be included in the promotion, cards must be transferred to auction by 11/06/2022.

If you already have COMC Elite soccer cards in your COMC Inventory Manager, you can send them to auction in just a few clicks! Soccer items must be transferred to auction by Sunday, November 6th by selecting the COMC/eBay World Cup Auction Event option. For a given item, simply right-click on the Actions menu and then select Send to Auction to begin the transfer-to-auction process:

After transferring your cards to auction, they are moved from your Inventory Manager to the Grading Submissions page in your COMC account. Once scheduled for auction, you can monitor your auctions via the Auction History page.

Only items that have already been processed through COMC’s Elite Consignment Service may be transferred to the Soccer eBay Auction Event. If you’d like to reprocess an item as Elite in order for it to be included in this auction event, you must submit it for Elite reprocessing by November 3rd, 2022.

Important Auctions Reminders

As you consider participating in our next exciting auction event, there are a few key reminders we’d like to share:

  • The minimum fee per auction, regardless of the final sale price, is $3.50. We do not recommend you submit cards to auction if they will not reach a final sale price of $20 or more.
  • There are no cancellations once we receive your auction submissions.
