Are You Ready for the National?

COMC’s event team can’t wait to see you this week at the 41st National Sports Collector’s Convention! We shared a blog post earlier this month about what to expect at COMC’s Booth #624, which you can read at this link. In this follow-up blog, our events team wanted to share some exciting updates to our NSCC festivities.

Free Box Breaks at COMC’s Booth: Prizm, Bowman Sapphire, and More!

Our festivities at the National will include free box breaks available exclusively to registered COMC.com users! Entering to win cards from these breaks is simple: just come by the COMC Booth each day and register by having our team members scan the QR Code now available in your account under “My QR Code”. Here are just a few of the boxes you can look forward to:

  • 2020-21 Panini Prizm Basketball Hobby Box: Including 2 Autos and a Plethora of Prizm Parallels
  • 2021 Panini Revolution Basketball Hobby Box: Amazing Parallels & Rookies to Chase
  • 2020 Panini Obsidian Football Hobby Box: 4 Autographs or Memorabilia Cards Per Box
  • 2020-21 Panini Impeccable Soccer Hobby Box: At least 4 Autographs

The cards pulled from these breaks will all be processed for free through our Standard consignment service, and winners will be chosen from a random draw after the conclusion of the NSCC. Panel Discussion Lineups Revealed

COMC hopes to bring you closer to some of the hobby’s most knowledgeable voices with multiple panel discussions taking place right at our NSCC Booth this year. We’ll be hosting a total of five panels over the course of the event, including one on Sunday with the legendary Dr. Jim Beckett. Each of these panels will be completely free for you to attend! Check out our schedule and updated lineup of special guests below:

Reminder: Drop-off Submissions & Cutoff Times

Our team looks forward to accepting your drop-off consignment submissions directly at our booth throughout the show. Our team will be accepting submissions directly at our Booth #624 until 3pm Central Time on Sunday. To speed up the drop-off process, please pack your items securely and print your submission paperwork in advance if possible. Be sure to select the “Drop Off @ Chicago, IL – National Sports Collectors Convention” option within the submission wizard as shown below.

We have computer stations with printers set up for consignors to use at the show. These stations can get busy during peak show hours, so we encourage you to print your submission slips in advance so your drop-off process is quick and easy, and you can spend more time enjoying the National! Ty Dillon Set to Join COMC at the National!

NASCAR driver and card collector Ty Dillon will be signing autographs at COMC's booth!

As we announced earlier this month, COMC will be welcoming NASCAR driver Ty Dillon as a special guest at our NSCC Booth on both Friday and Saturday! Ty is not only a professional driver but an active sports card collector himself; check out his Instagram @ty_dillon to see some of his recent pulls. Stay tuned – you may even see Ty break some boxes with us as well!
