Important Service Update: Discontinuing Redemption Fulfillment

For several years COMC has provided fulfillment services for manufacturer redemption cards sent to us through our consignment service. As of January 15th, 2020, we will be discontinuing support for unscratched redemption cards. Redemption cards transferred from Upper Deck’s ePack Service will need to be redeemed by the card owner. We will no longer offer the option for COMC to redeem the card on the card owner’s behalf.

How Will I Be Affected By This Change?

For COMC Consignors: Unscratched redemption cards that we receive that are postmarked after January 15th will be uploaded into your account as an unsupported item and be assessed our standard processing fee. We will not scratch the redemption cards and fulfill them on your behalf. You will need to have any unscratched redemption cards shipped back to you, where per-item fees will apply.

For COMC Mailbox Users: You can still have redemption cards sent to your COMC mailbox, but we will not be offering fulfillment services on your behalf. You will need to ship your unscratched redemption cards to yourself in order to redeem them. Any unscratched redemption cards in your account after January 15th will no longer be eligible to be scratched and redeemed by COMC on your behalf.

For Previously Scratched Redemption Cards: We will continue to provide support and fulfillment for any scratched redemption cards still available for sale on the COMC Marketplace, or in your COMC inventory awaiting fulfillment.

How Do I Redeem Redemption Cards from Manufacturers?

If you have a redemption card in your possession, it can be redeemed using the corresponding service:

Please also note that we will not scratch redemption cards in order to send you the code on the card, either now or after January 15th. The only available option will be for you to request shipment of any unscratched redemption cards to yourself.
