Happy New Year’s Eve everyone!
We wanted to let you know that COMC Customer Service will be closed on January 1st. We will reopen for business on Monday, January 4th. We hope you have a great day, and we are excited to see what the new year will bring.
Thank you for using our service, see you next year!
Hello COMC Nation, it’s Nathan with COMC.
Black Friday was an enormous success! We beat last year’s record by 23 percent. Over the one week surrounding this promotion, we had a spike of five times the number of items requested for shipment. Please join Tim, Geoff, and me as we discuss what made this years sales so special.
And, as a returning addition, the blooper reel!
Happy Holidays COMC Nation! With the end of the year in site, we wanted to make three quick announcements.
Customer service will close on Thursday, December 24th at 4:00 pm PT and will reopen on Monday, December 28th as normal.
USPS estimates more than 15 billion letters and packages will be delivered this holiday. While our Priority and Express orders will be packaged within one business day, we are at the mercy of USPS for delivery. To ensure timely delivery of orders by December 25th, with the deadlines posted by USPS:
- Priority orders need to be placed by Thursday, December 17th at 11:59 PM PT
- Express orders need to be placed by Monday, December 21st at 11:59 PM PT
Special Video Released Tomorrow
On 12/17, we will be releasing a new video, so come back tomorrow to see what we have to share!
COMC furthers its commitment to improving communication with our sellers today by rolling out a new method for handling declined cards – modern cards submitted through Basic processing which we have decided not to list due to their condition. This change is the first part of our plan to bring more clarity to our customers about our consignment services and processing standards.
Beginning today, after we sort a consignment submission, we will deposit a photo overview of cards we declined into the seller’s account. The photos will appear in the Inventory Manager as “2015 Declined Items” along with your cards. From there, you may now add those returns to a shipment or give them to charity.
2015 Declined Items are deposited to your account free of charge and will not be charged per-item shipping and handling fees at the time of shipment. In the coming months, we will work to retroactively process previously declined items using the new service.
This step was implemented to ensure our sellers receive communication about items we declined as early as possible. We will continue to iterate and improve the process as we hear from you, so let us know what you think. Email us at email@example.com with the subject COMC Declined Cards and tell us about your experience with our new declined card method.
