COMC Hot List: May 29th – June 12

Hello, true believers! It’s Wednesday and we’re pleased to present to all our friends and fellow collectors the latest and greatest COMC Hot List!

We’ve been doing our research, as well as following your suggestions, and we’ve compiled a list of players and sets that we feel are going to be the hottest tickets for the next few weeks. Check out the list:

We’re going to make it pretty simple; with the draft behind us, and many teams running their OTAs, we decided that any 2013 Football cards would be eligible for the current Hot List.

So what does being on the Hot List mean?

COMC wants to encourage our users to get these hot cards into your accounts to offer for sale as quickly as possible, so starting today, any cards from these players or sets will qualify for our “Hot List Special” processing.

With this service, you will receive One Day processing at the special Hot List price:
$0.50 per raw card and $1.00 per graded, encased, or jumbo card.

How to Submit Hot List Items for Consignment:

  • Clearly write “Hot List Special” on the outer mailing package and/or the address label.
  • $5 minimum batch fee (We recommend submitting 10+ items.)
  • 200 item maximum per week
  • Must be postmarked by June 12th, 2013
  • Must be mailed to our US address (Our Canadian warehouse currently only supports One Month service.)
  • Any submissions received on a Friday or Saturday may not be processed until the following Monday.
  • Submissions with non-Hot List items mixed in will be downgraded to One Week service.

You are welcome to submit Hot List batches at the same time that you submit other batches with different service levels, even if they’re mailed in the same package, but please make sure that each batch is clearly separated and labeled, and that “Hot List Special” is written on the outside of the mailing package and/or mailing label.

COMC Hot List mid-week addition!

In light of his getting called up to “The Show” and all the awesomeness that followed (Did you see that DP throw?) we’re announcing that Yasiel Puig is part of the current Hot List.

And, no worries, we guarantee that he’ll also be a part of the next Hot List, coming out on June 12th.

We’ve never done something like this before, but a player like Puig is pretty rare, too! Get those cards in now!

  3. With this hot list post coming out every so often, I find myself shipping alot of bubble mailers to you guys with 10-20 cards. Which is great and all. Here’s just a suggestion. I sell on eBay as well and love that I can print postage from my home using PayPal. It would be very cool if when I go to submitting page when I hit the summit items comc sends 1 cent to my PayPal account that way I could print postage. Now I am aware that I can go to USPS.com but they will not give you bubble mailer rates. There cheapest rate is $5.05. I can send 3 oz on eBay shipping for $1.69. I am not aware of any other place u can go and print shipping without them signing u up for a meter or/and charging u a member fee. The post office is a ways away and with the shipping I do it’s much easier and money saving to just toss it in my mailbox. I am sure there is also a way for comc to do something like PayPal shipping in house. I am sure I am not the only one that would take advantage of this service. Thanks Jason
