Site Down – Tonight 1-4 a.m. PST – Update Your Sales Before This!

We hope you had a good Black Friday!  Our Black Friday Weekend Specials are far from over.  We learned a lot today from the increased traffic, made some tweaks, and want the rest of the weekend to be smooth sailing.  In order to best accomplish this, we are taking the site down TONIGHT from 1-4 a.m. PST.

Sellers, if you are updating your Sales, please make sure you finish BEFORE 1 a.m. PST.

The site will be down so the server can do some optimizations and give good performance throughout the rest of the day.

Peace.

    • The seller credit will be good through Cyber Monday! Sellers – Restock for Free – For every item sold with a “Sale Promotion” from Black Friday through Cyber Monday, we will give you $0.25 of FREE processing! We will send you a processing voucher that can be used on our One Month, One Week, or One Day services.

  1. We expect a lot of traffic to continue throughout the weekend. Cyber Monday just may be our biggest day of all!

  2. I was supposed to be running a port sale. It appeared it was approved and then rejected, I was never notified that it was rejected and thought it was running until I couldn’t sleep and checked in. What happened? Their was nothing major different from the last bunch of ads I posted. How do I get this back up before I lose another day?

      • I may be missing something, but when offers come in, it says they are intelligible for the .25 credit?

    • Hi, mojo2005.
I know you talked to Jen and and I can see your port sale running. Please let us know if you’re still seeing any issues on your end and we’ll get it taken care of right away.
      Thanks!
      Jeremy

    • Hi Brian. Glad you’re enjoying the weekend sales! I know what you mean about the ‘back’ button – I’ve come across the same thing and we’re hoping the web team gets a chance to look at it soon.
      Thanks!

    • Hi, Tyrodsports.
That is correct – the restocking bonus applies to cards that are sold through a ‘Sale’ promotion until the end of Monday the 26th. Offers and port sales are independent of the Sale (so if you have a Sale for 50% off, someone can’t make you an offer of a further 50% off – they can only make offers based on the original non-discounted asking price).
      Thanks,
      Jeremy

      • jeremy, I need better a explanation, sometimes it says in the offer window that it is eligible, and other times it says that it is not. What is The difference? I thought all my cards would be eligible as long as I ran a sale. What causes any card To not be eligible? Is it if you customize the %? Is it only on cards you sent in yourself? i read all posts and what i understood is that every card i sold would get the.25 credit for processing, as long as i set up sale.

      • Hi, darin2200.
I apologize for the delay in responding. I’m actually not sure. I was under the impression that no items bought through offers would be eligible for the restocking credit, but I may have been mistaken. Cards you flip ARE eligible, and anything sold through a Sale is eligible; I’ll check to see if the offer extends beyond that. Thanks for letting me know.
        Regards,
        Jeremy

  3. Has the 10 cent buying credit been posted yet? Not seeing it. Also is there a place to see which of our sales were .25 eligible and which were not. Not really fair to penalize the seller if the buyer uses the old site. Amazon I understand as they are bought totally independent of COMC.

    • same issue with another port I’m trying to by, I just spoke to you guys on the phone know you are working on but please keep us updated

  4. Constantly running into website error window. Windows aren’t loading and timing out. Just letting you know.

  5. Come on Julia, having problems with all buys and offers right now. I think it is time to extend all promotions through Monday and hope you guys can correct all of the site problems by then.

  6. Hey, everyone, we figured out something that was hanging up the site, and Tim just did a blog post about it. There were some very large port sales that were causing the site to hang, so we’ve disabled port sales until Tuesday. We are going to continue to look for more problems in need of fixing. Thank you!
